Successful Defense in Administrative Trial for Snake Dealer

West Palm Beach Managing Partner Barry Postman achieved a remarkable result in an administrative trial involving a licensed snake dealer. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) had previously revoked the client's license to sell snakes following a raid by FWC and Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO), which resulted in 108 violations and criminal charges.

The trial, spanning three days over the course of four months, was presided over by an administrative law judge who reviewed the appropriateness of FWC's decision. Despite the serious allegations and the extensive raid findings, Mr. Postman successfully argued that the license revocation was unjustified.

In a decisive ruling, the administrative law judge sided with Mr. Postman and the firm's client on all grounds. The judge concluded that the snake dealer should retain their license and continue their business operations.
