Orlando Partner Jeff Partlow with Associate Carita Skinner obtained a directed verdict in favor of their client, a master condo association.
The Plaintiff, one of two sub-associations in the community, filed suit against the master association for breach of the Condominium Act, breach of contract, vicarious liability, and declaratory relief to challenge various actions taken by master association and its board of directors. The Plaintiff claimed the master association improperly favored the second sub-association, improperly assessed Plaintiff’s members, and failed to properly enforce the governing documents.
Jeff and Carita successfully argued and obtained a directed verdict in favor of their client on all claims.
