Yessenia Wisdom

Yessenia Wisdom is an Associate in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale East office, where she practices general civil litigation, insurance defense litigation, premises liability, negligent security, trucking accident defense, and vehicle negligence. 

Ms. Wisdom earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, where she was consistently named to the Dean's List. During law school, she served as a Junior Associate for Volume 50 of the Nova Law Review, competed in national trial advocacy competitions as a member of the Board of Advocates, and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Professional Responsibility.

Ms. Wisdom graduated magna cum laude from Florida Atlantic University, where she also earned a certificate in Peace, Justice and Human Rights. Her longstanding passion for advocacy was reflected in her involvement with FAU’s Model United Nations Diplomacy Program, where her team earned Distinguished Delegation and a first place national title at the 2020 National Model United Nations competition in Washington, D.C.

Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Ms. Wisdom spent nearly two years working in plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation. Her experience on the plaintiffs’ side gives her a unique perspective and insight that she brings to her defense practice.
