Tanya Milhomme-Simmons is an associate in the firms Ft. Lauderdale West Office. She practices in the area of workers' compensation defense.

She received her juris doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law. Prior to going to law school, Mrs Milhomme-Simmons graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.

Before becoming an associate at Cole Scott & Kissane, Tanya owned her own firm where she focused on representing creole speaking injured workers. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1999.

Mrs. Milhomme-Simmons served in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Charleston, South Carolina, Aerial Port Squadron. She is a board member of Women of Health Occupations Promoting Education (H.O.P.E) whose vision is to develop programs that promote health education and inspire minority communities to take charge of their health. Mrs. Milhomme-Simmons is also the Ambassador with Hair Peace & Hope 5k a non profit bring awareness to Mixed Connective Tissue Disease and autoimmune diseases that result in hair loss. She is fluent in Creole and Spanish.
