Steven L. Ehrlich

Steven Lane Ehrlich is an Administrative Partner in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale East office and a Partner in the Miami office. Mr. Ehrlich focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, professional liability, director and officer liability, and condominium and homeowners’ association litigation. He represents businesses, professionals, corporate directors and officers, and community associations in a broad range of complex disputes in state and federal courts throughout Florida.

Mr. Ehrlich regularly handles disputes involving contracts, business relationships, corporate governance, fiduciary duties, employment, and other complex business matters. He also represents lawyers and accounting professionals in professional liability matters, including claims involving alleged breaches of fiduciary duty, professional negligence, and other professional or corporate conduct.

Mr. Ehrlich has extensive experience representing condominium and homeowners’ associations, including their directors and officers, in disputes involving governing documents, assessments, maintenance and repair obligations, property damage, fiduciary duties, board governance, owner claims, and other issues arising from the operation and management of community associations.

Mr. Ehrlich handles matters through all stages of litigation, including case assessment and strategy, pleadings and dispositive motions, discovery, expert issues, mediation, and trial. He approaches each matter with an emphasis on understanding the client’s business objectives and developing a litigation strategy designed to achieve the most favorable result.

Mr. Ehrlich received his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami, with a double major in Psychology and Philosophy. A proud “Double Cane,” he also earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami. While in law school, Mr. Ehrlich was a member of the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board.
