Sami R. Achem, Jr. practices in the area of general defense litigation, with an emphasis upon complex litigation involving premises liability, automobile negligence, products liability, trucking/transportation, indemnification disputes, insurance disputes, Lemon Law litigation, landlord/tenant litigation, and negligent security.

Mr. Achem has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America®  since 2023. He was also elected to Florida Super Lawyers as a Rising Star for 2017-2021. He is as an AV Preeminent attorney on Martindale.com, which is a peer rating for the highest level of professional excellence.

Mr. Achem attended Florida State University for his undergraduate studies, where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree, majoring in political science and double minoring in political philosophy and psychology. He graduated in the top 4% of his class from law school, where he focused his legal studies in advanced legal writing and civil litigation.

Prior to working with Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A., Mr. Achem defended Wal-Mart in a wide array of premises liability and insurance matters. He also represented and defended national and state insurance carriers and employers in Workers’ Compensation matters.

He has tried several cases to verdict.
