SM Rezwanul "Rez" Haq is an Associate in the firm's Jacksonville office. He practices in the area of general defense litigation, with an emphasis on personal injury, insurance coverage and carrier representation, premises liability, and vehicle negligence.

Mr. Haq earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Central Florida. He thereafter attended Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor. While at Barry Law, Mr. Haq served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Child & Family Law Journal. He was also a member of the Barry Law Moot Court Honors Board. As Team Captain, Mr. Haq led his Moot Court team to a Semi-Finalist finish and a Third Place Brief Award at the Burton D. Wechsler National First Amendment Moot Court Competition. In addition, Mr. Haq served as a Dean's Study Fellow for three consecutive semesters, helping law students strengthen their understanding of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Evidence.

While in law school, Mr. Haq externed with the State Attorney's Office for the 9th Judicial Circuit. There, he worked in the Post-Conviction Unit handling criminal appellate matters and successfully argued both Motions to Suppress and Motions to Dismiss.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Haq worked in the private sector as a Franchise Consultant.
