Overview
Mitchell I. Rozen is a Partner in the firm’s Miami and Jacksonville offices, where his practice focuses on construction and complex civil litigation. He represents and advises general contractors, subcontractors, developers, architects, engineers, and other construction-related entities in a wide range of matters, including construction defect claims, contract disputes, tort actions, and lien enforcement. He regularly advocates for clients in State and Federal Courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation proceedings throughout Florida. In addition to his litigation work, Mr. Rozen provides strategic counsel on contract drafting, risk management, and project consulting. Mr. Rozen has also delivered webinars and presentations on various construction litigation topics for insurance carriers, third-party administrators, brokers, and prospective clients.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from SUNY Brockport, with a minor in Political Science. Before attending law school, he worked in intake screening at the Broome County Public Defender’s Office in New York, gaining early exposure to litigation and client advocacy.
Mr. Rozen went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law. During law school, he served as a Law Clerk at a criminal defense firm in Upstate New York and as a Summer Associate at a prominent insurance defense firm in Orlando, FL.
