Maxwell Alexander Ruttenberg is an Associate in the firm’s Orlando office, where he focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, business law, commercial law, and property law.

A double-Husky, Mr. Ruttenberg earned his Juris Doctor at Northern Illinois University College of Law, graduating as Valedictorian and also received a B.S. in Political Science.

During law school, Mr. Ruttenberg served as Research Editor on the Executive Board of the Northern Illinois University Law Review. He received the George M. Shur Award for achieving the highest cumulative grade point average throughout all six semesters of law school and the Brian and Tamra McGough Prize for excellence in corporate law courses. He also earned Book Awards in Legal Writing, Contracts II, Constitutional Law II, Evidence, Business Associations, Products Liability, and Real Estate Transactions.

Additionally, Mr. Ruttenberg published a Law Review comment examining the constitutionality of satellite surveillance under the Illinois Constitution.
