Overview
Mark Leonard Erdman is a Partner in the firm’s Miami office. Mr. Erdman litigates general civil litigation matters, claims against businesses and professionals, contractual disputes, commercial actions, Personal Injury Protection (PIP), premises liability, condominium and homeowners' associations, directors and officer claims, employment disputes, discrimination charges, class action disputes, and intellectual property matters.
In his current practice, Mr. Erdman focuses on both transactional work and civil litigation, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to his clients. He has litigated cases throughout Florida at both the state and federal trial court levels, as well as before their respective appellate courts.
Before becoming a licensed attorney, Mr. Erdman clerked for several law firms in the Miami-Dade and Broward areas and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Ariana Fajardo Orshan in the 11th Judicial Circuit for Miami-Dade County. His initial practice areas focused on complex business transactions, intellectual property, condominium and homeowners’ associations, real estate, workers’ compensation, and insurance defense for property and automotive claims.
Mr. Erdman completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University, where he double-majored in English Literature and History. He received his Juris Doctor from Florida International University, with a Certification for Intellectual Property specialization and academic achievement.
