Overview
Madonna Joy Smith is an Associate in the firm's Orlando office. She focuses her practice on bad faith and extra-contractual liability, first party property, general civil litigation, premises liability, and vehicle negligence.
Ms. Smith earned her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida and later obtained her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law. During law school, Ms. Smith served as President of the Caribbean Law Students’ Association and Secretary of the Women’s Law Society. Most notably, she was awarded a Pro Bono Honors distinction in recognition of completing over 800 hours of legal service within her community.
Prior to her admission to The Florida Bar and before joining Cole, Scott & Kissane as an Associate, Ms. Smith spent many years with a nationwide personal injury law firm, where she gained comprehensive experience managing cases from intake through trial.
