Overview

Madisen Marie Maring is an Associate in the firm’s Fort Myers office. She focuses her practice in the areas of insurance defense litigation, bad faith and extra-contractual liability resolution, catastrophic and personal injury, premises liability, negligent security, trucking accidents, personal injury protection, and vehicle negligence.

Ms. Maring earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida as well as a Master of Public Administration from Florida State University. She subsequently obtained her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Ave Maria School of Law where she was named to the Dean’s List every semester and graduated in the top 10% of her class.

During her tenure at Ave Maria School of Law, Ms. Maring served as Vice President for the Moot Court Board. Her accomplishments in law school include competing in three national moot court competitions, earning the “Best Oralist” award for one competition and helping her team achieve first place. She also received two CALI Excellence Awards in Legal Research and Writing and was honored with the Saint Catherine of Alexandria Award, presented annually to the graduating student who demonstrates excellence in oral advocacy, moot court competition, and trial advocacy.

During her first summer of law school, Ms. Maring interned with a commercial litigation and community association law firm, where she assisted with real estate transactions, homeowners’ association matters, and civil litigation research. The following summer, she served as a legal intern with the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG), Trial Defense Services, assisting in the defense of U.S. Army soldiers facing military justice proceedings and adverse administrative actions.

Ms. Maring brings a strong foundation in advocacy, legal research, and litigation strategy to her practice. She is dedicated to achieving favorable outcomes for her clients through diligent preparation, effective communication, and zealous representation.
