Joseph "Joe" Cline is an Associate in the firm's Tampa office. He is an accomplished attorney who primarily focuses his practice on insurance defense and coverage, specializing in construction defect / design defect of commercial and residential properties throughout Florida.
Mr. Cline was born in Southeastern Ohio in the Appalachian Cultural Region. He graduated from Athens High School and attended college at Ohio University. After graduating, Mr. Cline worked in law enforcement serving in various positions beginning with corrections and eventually serving on a fugitive apprehension taskforce with the United States Marshall's Office.
After his law enforcement career, he went to the Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley School of Law, where he graduated with honors and in the top 7% of his class. While in law school, Mr. Cline received the Scholars in Service Award, Leadership Achievement Award and the coveted Law Student of the Year award.
Mr. Cline began his practice with a boutique firm handling several high-profile cases related to sick-building claims and the Pulse Nightclub Tragedy. In the years since, Mr. Cline has served as Trial Attorney, Senior Trial Attorney, as captive counsel for a national insurance carrier. Additionally, Joe has performed coverage counsel work with a nationally recognized firm.
