Janelle M. Acevedo

Janelle Acevedo is an associate in the Miami office. Her practice focuses on construction defect defense.

Janelle was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended Florida State University for undergraduate studies and received a Bachelors in Accounting. During undergrad, she was an accounting intern for a non-profit organization in Tallahassee and during the summers, she would go back to Miami to intern in the accounting department of a fortune 500 construction and infrastructure company.

After graduating from Florida State University for undergraduate studies, Janelle stayed in Tallahassee and attended Florida State University College of Law. During law school, she was on the board for the school’s Mock Trial Team and Business Law Society. During law school, she also worked as a law clerk for a boutique defense firm that primarily practiced in Construction.
