Isabella C. Alvarez is an Associate in the firm’s Fort Myers office. She practices in the areas of civil litigation and insurance defense, including general liability and premises liability matters. Ms. Alvarez brings extensive experience in motion practice, discovery management, and client communication from her prior work in high-conflict litigation.

Ms. Alvarez obtained her J.D. from Ave Maria School of Law in May 2024, where she founded and served as President of the school’s Cuban American Bar Association chapter. She was also the Vice President of the Latino Law Student Association and completed over 80 pro bono hours with the Guardian ad Litem Program, advocating for the best interests of children in the dependency system. While completing her legal studies, Ms. Alvarez welcomed her son at the end of her second year and continued her studies without interruption, strengthening her resilience, perspective, and organizational skills.

Before attending law school, Ms. Alvarez earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, cum laude, with a minor in Political Science, summa cum laude, from St. Thomas University.

Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Ms. Alvarez gained litigation experience working as a Paralegal and Law Clerk in multiple Florida firms, where she drafted pleadings, conducted legal research, and managed complex case files.
