Overview

Ian Koven is a partner at the firm’s West Palm Beach office. He is a Martindale-Hubbell® AV Preeminent® rated attorney since 2018. 

Mr. Koven focuses his practice primarily on the areas of construction injury and litigation, wrongful death, and automobile and security negligence. Mr. Koven has represented owners, general and specialty contractors, material and equipment suppliers, and trucking companies in litigation involving catastrophic injuries and deaths on both residential and commercial projects. Mr. Koven has tried multiple construction injury cases to verdict.

Mr. Koven is approved by the Florida Department of Financial Services as a continuing education instructor in the areas of Adjuster Law and Ethics.

Mr. Koven graduated from Indiana University where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Affairs and a Minor in Business from the Kelly School of Business. He earned his Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law, where he was a member of the International Moot Court Society. He is also a member of the American Bar Association.

Mr. Koven is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts, the United States Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida

Super Lawyers Magazine has selected Mr. Koven as a Rising Star every year between 2017 and 2021, which is awarded to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in the State.
