Overview
Giancarlo Boucugnani is a Partner in the firm's Miami office. He has spent over 20 years successfully advocating for domestic and international clients in complex commercial litigation, alternative dispute resolution, executive risk management cases, and high finance cross-border commercial transactions.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. Boucugnani served over 10 years working in-house as General Counsel at Samsung Electronics and Assurant, managing cross-border complex litigation and transactional risks for each of the publicly-traded global companies. Before that, he spent nearly a decade as a Senior Associate at a prestigious, boutique international law firm in Miami, FL where he successfully represented foreign banks, multi-national companies, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals both in the courtroom and at the deal table around the world.
Mr. Boucugnani earned his Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School. He received his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Science & Technology Studies and Philosophy from Cornell University. He also completed an externship at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Bioethics in 2000.
