Overview
Gia Marie Scotti is an Associate in the firm's Bonita Springs office. Her practice focuses on professional malpractice, employment and labor, premises liability, as well as country club, condominium and homeowners' association law.
Ms. Scotti received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Spanish in May 2021, and graduated summa cum laude. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law in May 2025.
While attending law school, Ms. Scotti was an active member of the Moot Court Board, and competed in the Robert H. Bork Appellate Memorial Competition. During her first year of law school, Ms. Scotti was named Quarterfinalist in the St. Thomas More 1L Oral Advocacy competition. In addition, she authored an article for Ave Maria School of Law's publication, The Gavel, titled "A Look at Child Welfare in the Digital Age," which examines the implications of relying on Artificial Intelligence to report family issues. Throughout her law school experience, Ms. Scotti gained interest in advocacy and litigation, and is committed to providing effective representation to her clients.
During her legal studies, Ms. Scotti gained experience in estate planning and personal injury. After gaining valuable insight into the complexities of litigation and claim evaluation at a plaintiff-side personal injury firm, she was inspired to pursue insurance defense where she applies that knowledge to effectively analyze and defend claims.
