Overview
Amid Bennaim is an associate attorney in the firm's Miami office, his practice includes construction defect litigation, civil litigation and real property disputes. Mr. Bennaim works closely with developers, contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, homeowners associations, landlords and premises owners.
Mr. Bennaim was born in Caracas, Venezuela and immigrated to Miami, Florida in childhood. He is trilingual, fluent in English, Spanish and Hebrew. Amid earned a Bachelor of the Arts in Classical Civilizations from Boston University, where he graduated magna cum laude. Mr. Bennaim earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated with honors. Amid awarded the Dean's Merit Scholarship, a full academic scholarship.
While at law school, Amid was an Articles & Comments Editor for the Inter American Law Review. He was tasked leading a team of authors in the careful review and editing of articles submitted to the Law Review. Mr. Bennaim earned a Dean's Certificate of Achievement Award for Federal Income Tax and was placed on the Dean's list for multiple semesters.
Outside of work, Amid is involved in a wide array of humanistic and philanthropic endeavors. He has worked closely with youth leadership programs to instill leadership qualities and a sense of community in teenagers. Amid and his spouse are regular and committed benefactors of multiple South Florida charities providing relief from hunger and poverty, as well as for the support of orphans. Prior to earning his undergraduate degree, Amid served as a Non-Commissioned Officer in an infantry battalion of the Israeli Defense Forces.
