Tampa Associate Ashleigh Dyer achieved excellent outcomes in defending three separate physician licensure matters before the Probable Cause Panel of the Florida Board of Medicine. In each case, Ms. Dyer worked closely with the Defendant to develop thorough, fact-based responses, consulting independent medical experts and presenting detailed evidence to the Board.
- Case 1 & 2: Originated with Consumer Complaints that alleged that the Defendants, licensed physicians, made errors in administering medication, raising concerns about medical malpractice.
- Case 3: Following the settlement of a civil malpractice lawsuit, the Defendant faced allegations of administering a medication to which the patient had a known allergy, resulting in a serious reaction and emergency intervention. Notably, the Assistant General Counsel for the Florida Department of Health made a written recommendation to the Board that it find probable cause against our client in this matter.
Ms. Dyer’s consistent, evidence-driven strategy led to the dismissal of all three cases, with no formal disciplinary action and full confidentiality preserved for the physicians involved under the Florida Sunshine Law.
