Final Order on a Not-for-Profit Corporation Membership Dispute in Polk County

Orlando Administrative Partner Jeffrey Partlow and Associate Allaa Tayeb received a final judgement on a Polk County bench trial from October 2024 involving our client, a non-for-profit corporation. Plaintiffs were a group members that had their memberships terminated and filed the suit challenging the termination as being unfair, unreasonable and not carried out in good faith. By the time the case was over, 4 Plaintiffs voluntarily dismissed, 3 lost on summary judgment, 2 lost on a motion for involuntary dismissal at trial, and the last Plaintiff lost when the defense verdict was entered.
