Defense Verdict – Motor Vehicle Accident

Bonita Springs Partner, Ron Campbell, and Ft. Myers Associate, Anthony Genova, won a jury trial in Collier County in a motor vehicle accident case.  The Plaintiff claimed she had the green turn arrow and our clients claimed they had the green light, resulting in a severe impact in the center of the intersection with extensive property damage to both vehicles. Plaintiff ultimately underwent a cervical fusion that we were unable to refute.  In closing arguments Plaintiff asked the jury to award her  $4.8M in damages. After less than two hours of deliberation, the jury returned a complete defense verdict. This is Ron Campbell’s fourth complete defense verdict in as many trials.
