West Palm Beach Partner John Chiocca obtained a complete defense verdict on behalf of a road-builder client in Palm Beach County. The case involved catastrophic injuries to a pedestrian who was struck by a car. Plaintiff alleged that the road was defectively constructed by our client.
The jury absolved our client of any wrongdoing, but found the co-defendant County and the vehicle operator responsible. The jury awarded over $2.1 million in damages, with no responsibility applied to CSK’s client.
