Stuart Panton

In 2009 I began my insurance career working at Xchanging, handling peer-review claims within the London Binders claims team. In this role I oversee various classes of business based in North America, Europe and Australia, however it was predominantly US property claims which I handled. My next role was at ACE (Chubb), now working solely on North American property claims. This was my first role working in a lead position and gave me the opportunity to work alongside senior claims adjusters, gaining knowledge and experience in both the US and Canada. After three years’ experience, I then moved from ACE to Great Lakes which offered me good career progression and eventually led to me being promoted up to senior claims adjuster, again this role was working on business within North American property however also included exposure to liability and transportation claims. My next position was at Charles Taylor, working in a delegated lead role, overseeing Property books of business for various Lloyds syndicates. Finally, in 2023, I joined the Property D&F team at Tokio Marine HCC, working on North American business, with a small percentage of risks placed in Australia and New Zealand. Most of my career has been handling Property & Liability losses based in the US but also includes exposure to different territories / COB’s along the way.
