CSK is pleased to announce that CSK Tampa Partners, Paydon Broeder and Gabrielle Sanandajian obtained a complete defense verdict in Hillsborough County regarding a cast-iron pipe drainage system.
The case was a first party property case that had been litigated for almost six years. Given the length of time the case was in suit, potential bad faith exposure, and the previous fee entitlement statute exposure for this particular carrier was high. Prior to trial Plaintiff refused to provide a demand as they were so confident in their case. However, after a 5-day trial Paydon and Gabby were able to prove that 1) the cast iron plumbing system did not cause water damage and 2) it was not otherwise necessary to tear out and replace the cast-iron system.
