West Palm Beach Partner David Bradley and his team obtained their second complete defense verdict in less than six weeks. The case, which took place in Melbourne over six days, involved an admittedly defective parking stop which was so deteriorated that it had rebar sticking out of it. The Plaintiff alleged that she tripped and fell over it, landing on her knee and hands. As a result of the fall, the Plaintiff had knee replacement surgery and asked the jury for nearly $3 million. The arguments regarding a delay in initial treatment and lack of reporting the incident won the day.
Mr. Bradley was joined at trial by Partner Brian Pita for the first three days and Partner Nicole Topper for the last three days. Special thanks to paralegals Lisa Garcia and Taja Huntington for their assistance. Many thanks to the West Palm Beach office’s Manager and Paralegal, Jennifer Coppini, who offered invaluable assistance.
