Jonathan M. Midwall, a partner in the Miami, Key West and West Palm Beach offices, handles an active trial practice in the areas of medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, condominium law, products liability, commercial litigation, security negligence, first party property litigation, personal injury/wrongful death litigation and environmental and mass tort within Florida.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Colgate University, while also playing as a four year starter for its NCAA Baseball team. After graduating from Colgate, he decided to return to his native State of Florida and attend law school at the University of Miami. While in law school he studied abroad at the University of College of London, as part of the University of Miami London Study Program and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law in 1999. His honors and distinctions while at the University of Miami School of Law included the sole recipient of class honors in its Litigation Skills Program, advancing in various moot court optional rounds for advocacy, negotiation competitions and trial competitions.

Mr. Midwall has been selected as one of the top 1.9% of all Civil Trial lawyers as one of the Legal Elite in the State of Florida by Florida Trend Magazine (2008 and 2009). He holds the BV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rating for ethics and legal ability for an attorney with his years of practice. He has also been a Nominated Member Attorney of the Council on Litigation Management.

Jonathan has also been voted by his peers for inclusion in Florida Super Lawyers-Rising Stars Edition in the field of Civil Litigation Defense for 2009-2012 and  as Florida Super Lawyers, 2013-2020.

Mr. Midwall is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Florida and all state and Federal courts within the State of Florida.

He is a member of the Florida Bar Association and the Dade County Bar Association.
