Overview

Antwon M. Emery is a partner in the Fort Lauderdale West office of Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A.  Mr. Emery practices in the areas of hospitality defense, first party insurance litigation, property damage claims, wrongful death, negligent security, trucking accident defense and personal injury litigation.

Mr. Emery is a native of Flint, Michigan and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2006 and his Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University in 2002.  Prior to joining CSK, Mr. Emery worked as a Miami-Dade County Public Defender and was a partner at another prominent local defense firm focusing on first party property, insurance coverage litigation, personal injury, construction defect and general liability defense.

Mr. Emery is licensed to practice law in Florida.  He is a member of the Florida Bar and admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.  Mr. Emery is also a decorated veteran having served ten years in the United States Navy.
