Rebecca Burton is an Associate in the firm's Orlando office. Ms. Burton's primary areas of practice are employment and labor law and general negligence.
Ms. Burton received her Associate in Arts degree from the College of Central Florida. She then received her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Florida. Upon graduation, Ms. Burton attended Florida A&M University College of Law and obtained her Juris Doctor degree. During law school, Ms. Burton was a Certified Legal Intern for the Office of the Public Defender in the 9th Judicial Circuit where she gained invaluable courtroom experience, learned how to develop an effective defense strategy and negotiate fair and equitable resolutions for her clients.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Ms. Burton was an Assistant Public Defender for the 9th Judicial Circuit.
