Nicole Varela is an Associate in the Miami office. Her practice areas are focused on nursing home and medical malpractice.
Ms. Varela received her Bachelor of Arts in History from Florida International University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She then graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2017, cum laude. While in law school, Ms. Varela received the highest grade award in Legal Analysis Writing and Research, Advanced Legal Research and Writing, Florida Criminal Procedure, and Civil Procedure Focus. She was also a member of Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity. During her time in law school, she interned at the Miami Dade State Attorney's Office.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, she worked as an insurance defense attorney for various insurance carriers.
