Nicholas "Nick" A. James is an Associate in the firm's Jacksonville office. He practices primarily in personal injury litigation with a focus on automobile negligence and premises liability.
Mr. James began his legal career working in family law where his practiced focused on the representation of high net-worth individuals, and cases with business assets or complex legal issues. His career expanded into appellate cases and election law as well as first and third property insurance cases where he has focused his practice since 2018. Mr. James has several published appellate opinions in the area of family law and election law.
At West Virginia University, Mr. James was President of his dormitory, his fraternity, and the intra-fraternity council. While at WVU, he was admitted to the Casper Society within his fraternity, limited to 7 members nationally per year, after he re-wrote the IFC constitution that is still used on campus today. He also served 3 terms on the athletic council and was the student representative to the athletic departments hiring committee for Men's Basketball and Football from 2000-2002.
