Matthew C. Willingham is an associate at Cole, Scott & Kissane, P. A.'s Tampa office. His practice focuses on Construction Defect Litigation.
A native Floridian, Mr. Willingham is a graduate of Stetson University College of Law, where he competed as a member of Stetson's nationally recognized Trial Team and was selected to represent Stetson at trial competitions across the nation. After law school, Mr. Willingham served as an Assistant State Attorney for the 12th Judicial Circuit in Sarasota, Florida. As a prosecutor, Mr. Willingham conducted dozens of jury trials, obtaining guilty verdicts on charges ranging from DUI to Sexual Battery.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. Willingham worked at a civil litigation firm in South Florida, where he gained valuable experience litigating a wide array of cases involving contract disputes, fraud claims, and landlord-tenant matters.
