Johana V. Vargas

Johana Victoria Vargas is an Associate in the firm's Miami office, who focuses her practice on real estate law, including commercial and residential properties, and transactional matters. She has experience in both public and private sector legal environments.

Ms. Vargas earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University. During that time, she gained hands-on experience in child dependency law as a Legal Intern at the Florida Department of Children and Families, where responsibilities included legal research, court observation, drafting motions, and supporting case management in dependency proceedings.

Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Ms. Vargas served as a Legal Assistant at a transactional law firm in Miami, supporting real estate, business, and tax related legal matters. Her responsibilities included client support, title and lien research, and preparing documentation for residential and commercial property transactions throughout Florida.
