Overview
Ms. Calves is originally from Santos, Sao Paulo, Brazil. She attended undergrad at the University of West Florida where she majored in Legal Studies with a minor in Business. In undergrad, Ms. Calves received two Book Awards and won first place in the Second Annual Oral Advocacy Championship.
Before law school, Ms. Calves worked for a year as a legal assistant for a Plaintiff's firm in Pensacola, Florida. Ms. Calves later attended Chicago Kent College of Law at Illinois Institute of Technology where she graduated with honors. In law school, Ms. Calves received two CALI awards and was named to the Dean's Honor List six times. During law school, she continued to do Plaintiff work in Pensacola as a summer law clerk specializing in product liability cases and economic loss and property damage claims. In 2021, Ms. Calves also worked as a summer law clerk for the Honorable Judge Margaret A. Brennan of the Circuit Court of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois.
Ms. Calves joined CSK as an Associate in September 2023. She is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and U.S. District Court, Northern District of Florida. She is a member of the Escambia/Santa Rosa Bar Association and the Young Lawyer's Division.
