Hector E. Rodriguez

Hector Ernesto Rodriguez is an Associate in the firm's Miami office, where his practice is focused on construction defect litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rodriguez gained over a decade of experience in the property insurance and construction industries, managing hundreds of residential and commercial property damage claims. As a Public Adjuster and Insurance Appraiser, he conducted on-site inspections, evaluated complex losses, and worked collaboratively with insurance carriers to negotiate fair and efficient resolutions, often successfully resolving high-value disputes both pre-suit and in litigation.

In this capacity, Mr. Rodriguez has worked closely with counsel, experts, contractors, and subcontractors to address complex construction and coverage issues, serving as a critical liaison between parties and insurance carriers. He possesses comprehensive knowledge of damages and construction build-back systems, which he uses to help navigate parties toward resolution of technical disputes in a practical and collaborative manner.

Mr. Rodriguez has also been retained and testified as an expert witness at trial and deposition in his role as a damages expert, based on his deep understanding of construction methods, cost structures, and repair standards.

He earned his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship from Florida State University. 

In his free time, Mr. Rodriguez enjoys cheering for Miami's perpetually underachieving sports teams.
