Daniel Ehab Zakhary is an Associate in the firm's Tampa office, where he practices on the general liability team. His work focuses on general civil litigation, including cases involving catastrophic and personal injury, premises liability, vehicle negligence, and products liability.
Originally from Port Orange, FL, Mr. Zakhary earned magna cum laude honors at University of South Florida, where he double-majored and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology. He later moved to Gainesville, FL, where he was given a scholarship to attend the University of Florida's Levin College of Law. While working towards his law degree, he also earned a concurrent Master of Science in Sport Management at the University of Florida's College of Health and Human Performance, receiving summa cum laude honors.
During his time in law school, Mr. Zakhary was highly involved in the university's Alternative Dispute Resolution team, where he served as the Chair of Education, Negotiation Coach, and Main Competitor, gaining valuable competitive negotiation experience. Mr. Zakhary also served as a Research Assistant to former Dean Laura Rosenbury, where he was able to gain insight into legal academia, while deepening his analytical legal research and drafting skills.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott, & Kissane, Mr. Zakhary worked with the Public & Government Affairs Department at NASCAR, where he supported government relations efforts through legislative research, compliance review, and stakeholder outreach. His work reflected a strong interest in the intersection of law, sports, and public policy, where his team earned first-place in the department's Race & Development Competition Team.
