Alexia Isabelle Planos is an Associate in the firm’s Miami office and primarily focuses her practice on general civil litigation, premises liability, and motor vehicle accident defense. She has experience representing defendants in complex, multidisciplinary matters across the state of Florida.

Ms. Planos was born and raised in Miami, where she graduated summa cum laude with a BBA in International Business and Marketing from the Honors College at Florida International University. During her time there, Ms. Planos focused on her strong international academic foundation by completing an intensive French studies program at the Sorbonne University in Paris, and a study abroad experience in East Asia. Ms. Planos brings strong analytical and communication skills, bolstered by her multilingual abilities. Fluent in Spanish, conversational in French, and proficient in Mandarin and Portuguese, she flourishes in global and multicultural settings. Her ability to translate complex legal and business information across disciplines and audiences reflects a thoughtful and creative mindset.

Ms. Planos received her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in May 2024. During her time at Emory, Ms. Planos distinguished herself academically earning first place on Emory’s American Bar Association Mediation team. She was also a participant in the prestigious TI:GER Program, an interdisciplinary initiative that bridges law, business, and technology with a focus on intellectual property and innovation.
