Overview
Alex J. Lavene is an Associate in the firm’s Orlando office, where he brings a dynamic and diverse background in both family and criminal law. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lavene litigated complex divorce, paternity, and child support matters, as well as felony and misdemeanor criminal cases. His criminal practice included high-stakes matters such as interstate drug trafficking in coordination with the Statewide Prosecutor, as well as DUI and battery cases. His courtroom experience and strategic approach to litigation make him a strong advocate for his clients.
A native of Orlando, Mr. Lavene earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Florida State University, with minors in Chemistry and Physics. He was initially accepted to dental school and attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center before discovering his true passion for the law. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law, where he gained hands-on experience in first party property defense and plaintiff-side personal injury work.
Mr. Lavene's unique path to the legal profession, combined with his deep ties to the Orlando community, gives him a well-rounded perspective and a client-centered approach. He is committed to delivering thoughtful, results-driven representation and is proud to serve clients throughout Central Florida.
