Plaintiff was an employee of a plumbing subcontractor for a large construction project and suffered severe brain injuries after falling approximately 20 feet while installing ventilation pipe. Plaintiff's attorney was seeking in excess of $50 million in damages. CSK represented the General Contractor for the project and our attorneys successfully argued that our client had statutorily-provided immunity under Florida's workers compensation law.
