Zachery Sobel is an associate attorney in the firm’s Tampa Office. His practice focuses in the area of civil litigation with an emphasis on the following areas: First Party Property; SIU Insurance Fraud Defense; Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Exposure.
Zachery graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Psychology. He was the fourth-ranked amateur golfer in his high school graduating class and earned a full golf scholarship to play on the Ohio State Men’s Varsity Golf Team. At Ohio State, Zachery earned the Scholar-Athlete honors for his work on the course an in the classroom. He also volunteered over 200 hours at the Ronald McDonald House of Columbus, Ohio – the premiere housing center for underprivileged youth in need of medical treatment.
Zachery also played golf professionally for two years.
Zachery earned his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati, College of Law. While in law school, Zachery completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable James R. Stearns in the Sixth Judicial Circuit Unified Family Court where he became intimately familiar with Florida’s Child Proceedings Statutes. Additionally, he completed a legal externship in the City of Cincinnati Prosecutor’s Office where he completed numerous trial and appellate briefs, obtaining many successful convictions. Zachery also completed an internship with Gassman, Crotty, and Denicolo, P.A. in Clearwater, FL.
