Tullio E. Iacono is a partner in the firm’s Miami office. He concentrates his practice in medical malpractice litigation, wrongful death litigation, and in defending other catastrophic personal injury claims. Mr. Iacono handles an active trial practice, and also represents health care practitioners before the Florida Department of Health Board of Medicine, and Board of Dentistry. In addition, Mr. Iacono has successfully litigated and tried matters involving brain injury with alleged permanent cognitive deficits. Over the past several years, much of Mr. Iacono’s practice has been particularly devoted to defending emergency room physicians; urgent care practitioners; and medical assistants with respect to claims arising from the delivery of medical services.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with a minor in philosophy from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1997, he obtained a Juris Doctor degree from University of Miami School of Law, cum laude, where he was an Associate Editor on the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review. Currently, he is a member of professional organizations including the Dade County Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, and Florida Defense Lawyers Association.
