Tawna Schilling is a partner with the firm’s Tampa office. Her practice focuses on the defense of claims involving personal injuries, commercial and residential properties, trucking, security negligence, liquor liability defense, vehicle negligence, general civil litigation, premises liability, and wrongful death. Tawna also defends claims involving landlord/tenant disputes and property damage.
Ms. Schilling is originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts where she graduated cum laude. Ms. Schilling earned her Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law and was a recipient of the Victor O. Wehle Trial Advocacy Award.
During her second year in law school, she studied law abroad at Pädagogische Hochschule in Freiburg, Germany, the Institute of Social Studies in the Hague, Netherlands, and the University of Granada School of Law in Granada, Spain.
Ms. Schilling is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Hillsborough Bar Association and the Florida Bar.
