Tashanna Hammond is an associate in the firm’s Orlando office whose practice areas include the defense of general civil liability claims.
Originally from South Florida, Ms. Hammond attended the University of South Florida in Tampa where she earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science and Pre-Law. Ms. Hammond then obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Barry University School of Law, where she participated in numerous extracurricular activities. Ms. Hammond was a board member of the Student Bar Association where she planned and executed campus wide events. She was also a member of the Moot Court Honors Board where she competed in numerous national competitions, earning awards for her oral advocacy.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott, and Kissane, Ms. Hammond was an Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit where she engaged in extensive motion practice and tried numerous criminal cases to verdict.
