Tania is a Civil Litigation attorney with over ten (10) years of experience representing clients in state and federal courts. She graduated magna cum laude from the Honors College at Florida International University, with bachelors degrees in economics and political science. While at FIU, Tania served as an officer of the Honors Council, as Academic Affairs Chairperson in Student Government and as President of the Political Science Honor Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She interned at the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. and at the Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center, representing pro bono victims of Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking.
Tania attended the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law, where she graduated with honors. While attending law school, she served as a research assistant, a teaching assistant and a Florida Supreme Court legal intern at the Office of the Public Defender in Alachua County. She graded on to the Journal of Law and Public Policy and received book awards in Legal Research and Writing and Trial Practice.
Tania was born in Cuba and can speak, read and write Spanish with native proficiency. She has been selected as a SuperLawyers Rising Star for five consecutive years since 2016.
