Stephen V. Marasia is an associate in the firm’s Miami office. He practices in the areas of Catastrophic and Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Vehicle Negligence, Products Liability and Construction.
Mr. Marasia attended Florida State University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology. Mr. Marasia received his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University College of Law.
Prior to working at Cole, Scott, & Kissane P.A., Mr. Marasia practiced at the trial level as a litigation associate with a well-respected insurance defense law firm, where he regularly practiced in the areas of Products Liability and Premises Liability. Mr. Marasia also has experience in Mass Tort Litigation, with extensive involvement in the Deepwater Horizon Medical Benefits Settlement. He advocated for nearly 4,000 medically affected clean-up workers that were severally ill due to exposure to toxic chemicals involved with the 2010 Deepwater Horizon BP Oil-Spill.
