Stephanie Rivera is an associate in the Jacksonville office. Her practice focuses on personal injury defense, insurance coverage matters, and first-party property.
Ms. Rivera obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in 2004 and a Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University-Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2013.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott, & Kissane, Ms. Rivera practiced at a large insurance defense firm in metro Detroit, MI with a focus on PIP defense. In 2017, Ms. Rivera relocated to Jacksonville and worked for one of the larger Plaintiff firms in North Florida. Ms. Rivera worked in banking and financial services for several years prior to attending law school.
Ms. Rivera is admitted to practice in Florida and Michigan, and is admitted to the U.S. District Court-Eastern District of Michigan. She is also a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division in both Michigan and Florida, Hispanic National Bar Association and was a Board Member of the Hispanic Bar of Michigan. Ms. Rivera is also qualified to serve as a FINRA arbitrator.
