Shay Michael Beaudoin

Shay Beaudoin is an associate in the firm’s Fort Myers office. He grew up in Sarasota, FL. Shay received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Marketing from the University of Florida. He then attended the Florida State University College of Law where he graduated Cum Laude. Shay also completed a Masters program through the University of Florida where he received a degree in Sports Management.

During law school, Shay was a member of the Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law Society (EASL). Through EASL, he competed in the Tulane International Baseball Arbitration Competition where he argued for either the player or team on issues such as player salary. This lead him to an opportunity where Shay served as a baseball scout for the Florida State University baseball team for two years, including their appearance in the College World Series in 2019. Shay also worked as a Law Clerk at the Department of Business and Professional Regulation in the unlicensed division.

Shay volunteered at the Legal Aid Foundation in Tallahassee and held an externship with the Community Legal Services of Mid Florida.  Shay also counsels amateur athletes and talent management companies relating to Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) regulations.
