Robert Crabill is an associate in the firm’s Orlando office. Mr. Crabill earned his JD magna cum laude from Florida State University, and he began his legal career with the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation as the Executive Director, Chief Construction Attorney and Assistant General Counsel for the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board. During his tenure with the FDBPR, Robert managed a substantial volume of active files and supervised a team of attorneys responsible for the prosecution of licensure disciplinary cases before the Construction Industry Licensing Board, the Electrical Contractors’ Licensing Board and the Building Code Administrators and Inspectors’ Board, and he was fully responsible for administration of Florida’s construction licensing program including the issuance and maintenance of more than 62,000 individual licenses.
In more than a decade in private practice, Robert has continued to handle construction and large commercial litigation matters representing owners, architects, engineers, developers and public agencies regarding public and private industrial, institutional and multi-family residential projects. He also continued to handle complex administrative, regulatory and governmental matters, including licensing disputes before the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board, permitting, contract disputes, product liability claims, disruption and delay claims, performance disputes, construction defect claims, bond claims, lien foreclosures and collection matters.
