Rico Lively is an associate at the firm’s West Palm Beach office. Mr. Lively practice in the areas of catastrophic and personal injury, commercial litigation, general civil litigation, liquor liability defense, premises liability and workers’ compensation.
Mr. Lively obtained his Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Lively served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Elizabeth A. Kovachevich at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida in Tampa. He also assisted the Chief of Appeals at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity in Tallahassee as a law clerk during his final year of law school.
In law school, Mr. Lively honed his trial practice skills as a member of the FSU Trial Team where he, and his team, found success in winning the Florida National Trial Advocacy Tournament in 2015. Mr. Lively also served as a member to the FSU Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law and the FSU Business Review.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott and Kissane, Mr. Lively practiced in workers’ compensation defense in West Palm Beach, Florida.
