Overview

Rachel K. Beige is a partner with the firm's West Palm Beach Office and practices in the areas of Banking and Financial, Labor and Employment Law, Civil Rights Law, Housing and Commercial Litigation, ERISA Litigation, Legal Malpractice, Directors and Officers Liability, Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Intellectual Property, Marine/Admiralty, Community Association Law, Errors and Omissions, Consumer Protection Defense and Class Action for the firm.

Ms. Beige’s practice also extends beyond litigation, as she conducts diversity training for managers and employees to assist companies in preventing discrimination and harassment in the workplace. Ms. Beige provides advice and works with employers to properly tailor their Employee Handbooks and other employment policies to their business needs, as well as drafting employment contracts and separation agreements. Ms. Beige also counsels employers on executive compensation, fiduciary and employee benefit issues, as well as the proper classification of exempt and non-exempt employees.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami. Ms. Beige earned her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 2005, where she was a Richardson Merit Scholar. While in law school, Ms. Beige was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, serving as a member of the National Team, and winning the Best Oralist Award at the National Entertainment Law Competition at Pepperdine University.

Ms. Beige is admitted to practice in all state courts within Florida, New York, and New Jersey. Ms. Beige is also admitted to practice before federal courts, including the United States District Court for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, as well as the District of New Jersey.

Ms. Beige is a member of the American Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and the Florida Association for Women Lawyers.

Ms. Beige has been named as one of the state’s top “Rising Stars” in the State of Florida by the Super Lawyers Legal Guide for 2013-2019.
